The potatoes!! Top. Tier. I went with the “two two three” plate, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Two strips of crispy bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and three cute little pancakes that packed a punch. We also tried the Irish iced coffee and whew… so good. Our waitress with the braids was super attentive and so sweet, which made the whole experience even better. Next time I’m trying those massive blueberry pancakes, they were huge!

Special of the day was crawfish etouffee omelette. It was delicious! And a friendly staff. Very local vibe.

Had excellent service from Jillian. Husband had the daily special and I had the veggie omlet and grits. Its a super cozy vibe, lots of art, all for sale by local artists, on the wall. Its a place where you'd see locals gathering for coffee and a chat, but also generations of people gathering for simple, but well made comfort food. Places like this are slowly dying out, and this Cafe is still going strong, doing what it does best. Will be back again and bringing my parents when they visit in Feb. Open from 8 to 2. Parking is on the street. There is a bar, but my husband and I do not partake of alcohol so I don't have a lot of details on that. Prices are very reasonable. Outdoor seating available.

These places in the middle of neighborhoods are true gems. Parking is in the hood, so plan accordingly...walk, taxi, Uber, just don't expect valet service. Staff is super friendly in this big 'ol space that looks like a really old grocery store, honestly I don't know the history but you can feel it with an inviting atmosphere and art on the walls for sale! Breakfast was wonderfully standard cafe fare and my breakfast sandwich and pancakes were very good and satisfying, the potatoes might've been a bit too oily but I still ate them all. My breakfast was perfect for a busy New Orleans day ahead. Morning beverage options at the cafe were as expected and more than adequate. I would definitely happily return for other menus items and more boozy drinks!

We ate at Panola for the first time today, but it won’t be the last. Every thing was perfect. Our server, Emily, offered to brew a pot of Community Coffee and Chicory. Perfect! My favorite and You don’t often find it at restaurants. We split two omelettes, the special boudin omelette and the crawfish omelette. Both were excellent. The sides of potatoes and the grits were also as good as you’ll find. This one gets a five star plus!!!

This place is at the end of the green trolley road and you walk through some neighborhood streets but it is worth going to. They had some different types of drinks and food for brunch which were interesting. I had the crab cake benedict which was amazing and an irish iced coffee which was absolutely delicious! My friend had the Eggs Sardou and of course a mimosa! Haha! Service was good at first but then slowed down a bit. This has happened in New Orleans at a couple of places so I don’t know what that’s about...Anyway, great irish coffee and good food! Cute little neighborly restaurant.

We ordered the crab Benedict, the two egg plate with a biscuit and side of bacon, the blueberry waffle, and a cup of orange juice. The crab Benedict was kind of a let down. The crab cake was mostly filler. I was hunting for the crab pieces. The flavor was good though. The eggs on all plates were cooked well. The biscuit was delicious and the bacon was cooked well. The breakfast potatoes were not seasoned which was a let down but they were cooked well. The waffle was what you would expect. The fresh squeezed orange juice came out of a jug but the lady shaking it up said they just reuse the jugs. Hopefully that is the case and they aren’t mixing fresh juice with store bought. The juice did taste good though. Overall, not super impressed especially considering the price, but it was decent.

Zero complaints, good food, great service. Sophie, our server, was stellar! - surprising because of how young she is, but she was so genuinely friendly as well as efficient. We had the BLAST sandwich and the Crabcake Benedict on our unplanned Saturday brunch visit. Oh! And the biscuit on our neighbor’s table looked so good we ordered one as an app. Sophie suggested grilled/warmed and it was buttery and delicious. The BLAST- I could have that for breakfast or lunch every single day! A perfect BLT with mayo and some avocado and Swiss. The Crabcake Benedict was great but also VERY rich. Everything about it was done well though. Compared to similar places, this cafe is very reasonably priced, and we are looking forward to future meals there.
